Warranty Information

Alternative metals are harder than traditional gold or platinum, meaning they cannot be resized in the same way. If your finger size changes, a new ring in the correct size will be required. Thorsten offers a size exchange for the lifetime of your ring, as long as you own it.

Please note that exchanges are limited to size adjustments only and do not cover style or width changes.

Exclusions: The warranty applies solely to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Style Availability:
Rings exchanged for a new size must be for the same style and width. If the original style is discontinued, a similar style may be substituted.

Previously Engraved Rings: Engraved rings can only be exchanged under Thorsten’s size exchange warranty. Any engraving or custom work will need to be redone at the customer's expense, regardless of any promotions at the time of purchase.

Shipping: The customer is responsible for all shipping fees to and from Thorsten for size exchanges, returns, or repairs.

Thorsten is not responsible for the sentimental or intrinsic value of the original ring.

Thorsten Jewelry Warranty Information

At Sparkle & Jade, we proudly offer Thorsten jewelry made to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. We guarantee that all Thorsten pieces are free from defects. If your jewelry fails to meet our quality standards, it will be replaced under warranty.

What’s Covered:

  • Defects and Damage: If your Thorsten ring has a defect or breaks due to accidental damage, it will be replaced under our warranty terms.
  • Replacement Process:  We will collaborate with Thorsten to handle any replacement for confirmed defects or size exchanges. If your original ring style is no longer available, a similar style may be offered. A warranty administration fee will apply.

Exclusions and Limitations:

  • Third-Party Alterations: Any alterations made by third parties will void the warranty.
  • Custom Rings: Custom rings are non-refundable. If a custom ring requires warranty work, a custom fee will apply. Any engraving or custom work will need to be redone at the customer’s expense.
  • Wear and Tear: The warranty does not cover normal wear, including scratches, as Thorsten rings are scratch-resistant, not scratch-proof. Inlay damage and stones falling out over time are also not covered. Any inlays or stones that need replacement will incur a fee.
  • Stones and Damage: Stones that become dislodged over the lifetime of the ring are not covered under the warranty. There is a fee for replacing any lost or damaged stones.
  • Stolen or Lost Products: We do not cover stolen or lost products under the warranty.
  • Ring Style Availability: If your ring style is no longer available, we will offer a similar replacement style.

Return and Exchange Policy:

  • 30-Day Return Window: Thorsten rings can be returned within 30 days, provided they are in new condition. Custom rings are non-returnable.
  • Warranty Fee for Precious Metal Exchanges: A 20% warranty fee applies to precious metal rings (gold, silver and platinum) exchanged after 30 days.

Shipping: 

The customer is responsible for all shipping fees to and from Thorsten for size exchanges, warranty exchanges, returns, or repairs. Please ensure you insure your ring when returning it, as we are not responsible for any loss or damage during shipment. Customs taxes, if applicable, are the recipient’s responsibility.

Lifetime Exchange Instructions

Follow these steps to start your exchange:

Start the Exchange
Click the link below to begin the process. Select your new size, choose any optional engraving, and pay for the administration fee and the shipping from Thorsten to you.

Packaging the Ring

You do not need to include the original Thorsten ring box.

Securely package the ring in a padded mailer or box to prevent damage during shipping.

You may use any shipping service (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.), but we recommend insuring the ring for the full amount you paid for it.

Shipping

Send the ring to the address provided.

Once we receive it, please allow 3-5 business days for processing.

Tracking
After your new ring ships, you’ll receive a tracking number from Sparkle & Jade.
