Appearance: Transparent to shimmering opaque oligoclase
Moonstone is mostly colorless, but can be found in grey, white, pink, green, and brown. Some rare colors are blue, peach, black and red.
Rainbow Moonstones have a reflective bluish shimmer. They are known for having a connection to the moon, which goes back as far as to ancient Rome.
