Chalcedony
Appearance: Chalcedony is a type of quartz. It does not occur in visible crystals, but a waxy luster, and may be semitransparent or translucent.
Chalcedony has a wide range of colors and can be easily dyed. It is naturally found in white to gray, grayish blue, and brown ranging from pale to nearly black.
Facts: Leopard Skin is a variety of chalcedony caused by impurities. Impurities are frequently present in chalcedony.
Chalcedony is found in geode form and forms of pseudo morphs (like petrified wood, Tiger’s Eye).
Physical and Emotional Balance: Chalcedony is worn for it aids in overcoming the fear of public speaking.
It helps ease self-doubts, makes you more reflective, dissipates negative energy, and is cleansing in nature. Chalcedony can lessen the effects of dementia and senility.
Chalcedony can promote brotherhood, goodwill, and peacemaking. It also fosters stillness and calmness.
