The backing comes off the stud

The post was bent on one of the earrings when i recieved the item and the backing to the earrings were not the same as it said in the posting for the item they were supposed to come with twist on backing.....

They are beautiful. My granddaughter is going to LOVE them.
I have to admit when I received these I was really skeptical. The color just didn’t seem the same as other emerald earrings I’ve seen. Didn’t seem dark enough. I was really worried these were fake. I brought them to a jeweler I often buy from and they did verify that these are in fact real. That the color was different because they are natural and not lab created. Just like I wanted. I guess all the others I’ve seen have been lab created. I am very happy. My daughter will love these for Christmas. And they came in a pretty sparkly box too.
Nice earrings, however. One of the prongs holding emerald has already broke. Backs of earrings slide, not very secure. I'm starting to doubt they are even genuine emeralds.
These are a quality pair of earrings. The 'white' opal is small at 5 mm, but you can still see the bursts of color in each gem, especially when viewing under a jeweler's loupe. The gems are true white opals instead of the more translucent stones you see mostly these days. The white ones are getting harder to find. I have been looking for studs and dangle earrings in 'white' for awhile and have now found the studs!
The gold stud itself is very nice with very defined prongs and are a very sturdy appearance and feel. They are not thin and flimsy like some I've seen. Ordered on Friday and received on Tuesday! I am very satisfied with this purchase. I do hope the photo comes out so you can see the colors!
